Design Notes
Ensure proper decoupling of AVDD and DVDD supplies. Place 0.1uF and 10uF capacitors close to the AVDD and DVDD pins. The analog and digital supplies should be separated to minimize noise coupling. Use a low-noise LDO for AVDD to maintain ADC performance.
Place the reference decoupling capacitor close to the REFIN pins. Use a 10uF ceramic capacitor for the internal reference. For external reference, use a low-drift reference and place its decoupling capacitor close to the REFIN pins. Keep analog input traces short and shielded to reduce noise pickup.
Avoid exceeding the absolute maximum ratings for AVDD and DVDD. Ensure the SPI interface is isolated if used in noisy industrial environments. The SYNC pin should be tied to DVDD if not used. Do not leave unused analog inputs floating; connect them to AVDD or GND as appropriate.
Compliance Information
