Design Notes
Place 0.1uF and 1uF decoupling capacitors as close as possible to the VCCI and VDDA/VDDB pins. Use low-ESR ceramic capacitors to ensure stable operation and minimize voltage spikes during switching. The ground pins should be connected to a solid ground plane to reduce parasitic inductance.
Minimize the gate drive loop area by placing the power switch and gate driver close together. Use wide, short traces for the OUTA and OUTB pins to reduce parasitic inductance and ringing. A Kelvin connection to the source/emitter of the power switch can further improve switching performance.
Ensure the DIS pin is properly pulled low or high to avoid unintended shutdown. When using the DIS pin for fault protection, add a pull-down resistor to keep the driver enabled by default. Also, verify that the input signals (INA, INB) are within the recommended input voltage range to prevent damage.
