Design Notes
Provide a clean, low-noise 2.5 V supply for AVDD and DVDD. Use a low-dropout regulator (LDO) with output noise below 10 Β΅Vrms to avoid degrading ADC performance. Decouple each supply pin with a 10 Β΅F ceramic capacitor and a 0.1 Β΅F capacitor placed as close to the pin as possible.
For optimal performance, use a solid ground plane and separate analog and digital ground areas, connecting them at a single point. Route analog input traces away from digital signals to minimize coupling. Place the reference decoupling capacitor (10 Β΅F) close to the REF pin and connect REFGND directly to the analog ground plane.
Ensure the analog input source impedance is low (below 100 Ξ©) to avoid sampling errors. Use a driver amplifier with sufficient bandwidth and low output impedance. Avoid exceeding the absolute maximum ratings on the input pins, and ensure the reference voltage is stable and within the specified range (2.4 V to 2.6 V).
